How to get from Lubeck Airport to Hamburg

Lubeck Airport

Hamburg Lubeck International Airport, or Lubeck Blankensee as it is also known, is located in Germany 4.6 km from Lubeck and 54 km from Hamburg. It is a small airport with only one terminal, serving mainly low-cost airlines such as Ryanair and Wizz Air.

From the airport to Hamburg

You can take the Hamburg-Holstein AG bus to Hamburg Central Bus Station, which stops directly in front of the terminal. The fare for a one-way trip is €10. Travel time is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The timetable coincides with the arrivals and departures of all scheduled airline flights.

The city of Hamburg can also be reached via the Luebeck train station.

The Lubeck Flughafen railway station is 300 metres from the airport terminal. An electric train will take you to Luebeck Central Station, from where you can easily take the train to Hamburg Central Station.

From the airport to Lubeck

To get there, take bus No.6 and get off at Blankenseer Strasse, which stop is about 50m from the terminal. The journey takes 25 minutes. The fare is €2.7. The bus stops in the city centre at the bus station/central railway station.
